Mary Lenaburg is a Catholic blogger limping along the spiritual road somewhere between Holy Hannah and Snarky Sinner. Married thirty-two years to her first (and only) blind date, Mary has two adult children. Jonathan is 26 and finding his way in the adult world. He is funny and crazy smart and was the BEST big brother walking this side of heaven. Courtney had significant special needs and went home to Our Lord on December 27, 2014, the Feast of John the Beloved. They were blessed to have her with them for 22 beautiful years.
If she’s not snapping photos of her daily life, she’s writing about faith, family, fashion and crazy days here at Passionate Perseverance. Mary loves to talk about her journey toward joy, and how to dress comfortably when you’re feeling blue, pink, or yellow.
She is available for speaking engagements anyplace, anywhere (including radio or podcasts), to any audience. She talks about end of life issues, dignity in death, special needs parenting, facing challenges with joy, acceptance of whatever life brings you, suffering is not evil, the joys of modern plumbing, her journey as caregiver and mother, and how to say “yes” to your vocation regardless if dirty diapers are involved or not.
Below are the links to a series of videos Mary, her husband Jerry and their son Jonathan put together where they answer readers questions.

Mary believes there is joy to be found in every day this side of heaven, no matter what is happening in life. She is determined to spend the rest of her life finding it and living the crap out of it.
