I’ve been making Christmas Jam for more than two decades now and it never fails to disappoint. Cranberries, Strawberries , oranges, cloves and cinnamon. It’s holiday happiness in a jar. Now we are ready to share the love with friends and family 🍊🍓
.Mary’s Christmas Jam
3 cups Cranberries
1 orange, peeled and seeded
2 teaspoons orange zest
1 (10 oz) package of frozen sliced strawberries
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
4 cups sugar
1/2 cup water
1 (3oz) packet of liquid pectin. I use Certo brand
Combine cranberries and sections of seeded orange in a food processor. Pulse until coarsely chopped.
.Add strawberries, oranges, cloves and cinnamon.
.Continue processing until finely chopped but not puréed.
.Stir together fruit mixture, sugar and water in a large saucepan until well blended. Cook for two minutes over high heat until a rolling boil.
.Stir in liquid pectin. Stirring constantly, bring to a rolling boil again and boil for one minute.
.Remove from heat. Immediately pour into six hot, sterilized half pint jars. Seal tightly. Let cool and enjoy!
