God Makes All Things New
Everyone has a past filled with sins, sorrow, and regret. God can take all of that, and through his Grace, redeem our past for His purpose. So let it go! Let the self judgement, fear and sins go and allow God to love you where you are. This talk will leave you feeling empowered and firm in your faith walk to come to Jesus no matter what you may be going through.
Suffering with Joy
We live in a fallen world. As a result of this, suffering, sickness and death touch everyone’s life. Our suffering is a personal invitation from our Lord to enter into His Passion and Crucifixion to completely rely on Him and cling to the Cross as we go through our trials and tribulations. In the course of this talk, the seeds of trust in our Lord during trying times will be planted, and take root so that you know you are never alone in your suffering.
Radical Love: Lessons from St. Teresa of Calcutta
St. Teresa of Calcutta served the lowest of the low. Her entire ministry was about unconditional love, no matter your status in life. Mother Teresa said, “Do small things with great love.” But where do we begin? As the special saint said “If you want to change the world, go home and love your family.” Radical love seems like a huge undertaking at first glance, but at the end of this talk, you will learn that radical love, as St. Teresa of Calcutta expressed it, is just as accessible to us, now more than ever.
If there’s one thing that defines Mary Lenaburg, it’s that she knows how to tell a story. And she has quite a story to tell. The Lenaburg’s loved and cared for their daughter Courtney who suffered from severe health problems for decades. But beyond that, they took great JOY in Courtney. Their story of life, love, and loss has profoundly affected me and shaped my understanding of what it truly means to be pro-life. Mary is a spellbinding speaker who can captivate a room.

Death is Not the End
Because of sin, death comes to us all. We are a Resurrection people. As Catholics, we have hope that even though death temporarily separates us from our loved ones, we will one day all be reunited to eternal joy and praise of our God in heaven. With this talk, you will be strengthened and renewed in the hope of the Resurrection of your loved ones, how to pray for them, and how to remember them in a way that honors you and your family.
Gratitude is the attitude that will bring light from the darkness. In the muck and mire of our everyday lives there are nuggets of joy, if we just look and pay attention. By choosing to celebrate those small, seemingly insignificant, moments, we are able to survive the most difficult things. Using St. Therese of Lisieux’s The Little Way, this talk will show you how to find the nuggets in your day to see and know deep in your heart, that God is with you, even (and especially) when you’re washing the dishes. I’ll give you ways to keep and cultivate gratitude in your everyday life.
What is a Life Worth?
Every life from conception to natural death, has value, God does not make mistakes. Through the holocaust of abortion to euthanasia and assisted suicide, our society has lost the respect for life and understanding of the redeeming quality of suffering. All life has value and dignity, even those with no voice of their own. In this inspirational talk, Mary shares how even though her daughter could neither speak nor walk, she had a profound influence on those around her and brought many of them closer to God.
Mary Lenaburg is one of those people who walks in to a room, and the whole thing lights up. She truly radiates the love and light of God with her very presence, Then she begins to speak, and it is though you are the only one in the room. She makes you laugh, draws you in to contemplate your own life and sufferings and blessings, and helps you realize your beautiful existence just by her words. Mary is someone I would recommend to come to any event if you’d like someone warm, loving, encouraging and poised. She is truly an irreplaceable woman, and speaker. – Jenna Guizar, Founder and Creative Director for Blessed Is She
Trust in the Lord With all Your Heart
“Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.” – Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Faith is having the courage to say and mean “God, I want what you want”. Trusting in a plan you cannot see and may not understand is a true test of faith and one that we can learn to accept with grace. Life brings challenges in all shapes and sizes and it is our faith in God that brings us the peace we so desperately ask for in prayer. With this talk, Mary uses scripture and personal experience to delve into how to infuse faith into your life when life challenges seem at their bleakest.
Dignity During Illness and Death
We live in a culture of death. From abortion, to self euthanization the dignity of the human person is at an all time low. In this talk, Mary shares her unique experience of fighting for dignity for her daughter during her illness, and ultimate natural death at 22 years old. A champion for the marginalized, Mary will share examples of the culture we, as Catholics should be upholding and sharing with others.
Mary is such a personable, heart-felt & Holy Spirit-inspired speaker. She’s very engaging and does a great job of drawing people into her personal experiences and testimony. Her honesty, vulnerability and story-telling are some of her best assets, and also a few of the reasons that make her so relatable and likable. She is able to speak on sensitive topics with such grace and humor. We’re so happy to have had her as a speaker for our retreat! – Annie Deddens, Catholic Wife and Writer, Co-founder of Pray More Novenas
Teenagers and Self-Esteem (Sexuality, ToB, Anxiety)
Modern culture is all about the culture of death and a subjective morality (my truth is my truth, your truth is your truth) that is difficult for teenagers to ignore. As parents, we know that God makes each person unique and unrepeatable with a mission to help build the Kingdom of God. In this uplifting talk, Mary gives unique insight from parent to parent, to help teenagers learn to love themselves enough to know that they are enough for God.
