Comedy is Author Janice Thompson’s middle name. This writer makes me howl…no joke. In her latest novel “Hello, Hollywood!”, Ms. Thompson follows TV sitcom head writer Athena Pappas and her new colleague Stephen Cosse.
There is instant attraction as well as competition between these two character’s. With a shared Greek heritage, competing career goals and dreams, and a crazy cast of secondary character’s, “Hello, Hollywood!” made me laugh on almost every single page. Oh how I needed to laugh these past few weeks. This book reminded me of “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” meets “The Dick Van Dyke Show” with a little “I Love Lucy” thrown in for good measure. A fabulous comedy with a touching romance at the heart of the book.
Available September 2011 at your favorite bookseller from Revell, a division of Baker Publishing Group.
