…to attend the 136th Annual Labor Day Picnic at our home parish St. Mary of Sorrows in Northern VA.
It is a tradition started by the Irish railroad workers in the late 1800’s. There will be three-legged races, pass the potatoe, pie eating contests, rock climbing, lazer tag, ponies rides and so much food it will be a challenge to taste it all.
So I will post my blessing update tonight…until then Happy Labor Day my friends!!
Scenes from the past (2008):
|I lost a bet and had to participate in the pie eating contest…|
|This is NOT my best look…|
|I won my round (YAY!) but got creamed by a very
hungry ten year old in the final round.
