“It’s important for moms to recognize that all the small successes in our days can add up to one big triumph. So on Thursday of each week, we do exactly that.”
Jerry and I took advantage of an unexpected change in our schedule yesterday by taking Miss Courtney to the park. It was a glorious summer afternoon devoid of the usual sticky humidity and high heat. There was a breeze and the sun was high in the sky. She loved every minute of it and so did we. I can honestly say we were living the sacrament of the present moment.
I have made a new daily schedule to include exercise and a cleaning routine. So far, so good for week one. I pray I can say the same for next week and the week after.
I am enjoying some summer reading time. Usually, I am so wrapped up in homemaker projects or in my own writing that I don’t read as much. It has been delightful to return to this lovely habit.
What are you reading or looking forward to reading this summer?
Would love to find some new authors so speak up readers :o)
Blessings and Grace.
