I LOVE Lemon! So last week I made this cake for my prayer group and it was a great success. Here is the recipe from Cook’s Country Magazine, April/May 2007 issue**.
** I used the Cook’s Country recipe’s for the buttercream frosting as well as the yellow cake batter. They were wonderful. I used jarred lemon curd from Williams and Sanoma (a gift), and made my own sugared lemon slices.
